Job summary

Newcastle Anglican is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Coordinator to lead and coordinate housekeeping across a group of Residential Aged Care facilities on the Mid North Coast. The role reports to the Housekeeping Manager and involves rostering, performance development, and ensuring service delivery meets quality standards and infection control requirements.

The successful candidate will travel regularly between 3 Anglican Care facilities, promote the organisation’s mission and values, and

Qualifications

• Experience in Health or Aged Care Services.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• 3+ years in housekeeping, cleaning or laundry services in relevant settings.
• Experience in providing commercial laundry services, including equipment maintenance and logistics.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites or work areas.
• Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, infection prevention and control principles, WHS requirements, and cleaning methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff across multiple sites.
• Ensure staff are trained to required standards.
• Manage rostering and performance development.
• Support achievement of quality standards and infection prevention.
• Travel regularly between facilities on the Mid North Coast.
