Job summary

Newcastle Anglican seeks an experienced Housekeeping Coordinator to lead housekeeping across an assigned group of Residential Aged Care facilities on the Mid North Coast. You will supervise onsite housekeeping staff, roster, and support the Housekeeping Manager to ensure quality, infection prevention, and care standards are met.

Qualifications

Experience in Health or Aged Care Services.
Supervisory or team leadership experience.
3 years or more experience in housekeeping, cleaning or laundry in aged care or healthcare.
Able to manage competing priorities across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Actively promote Newcastle Anglican values and mission.
Adhere to regulations, policies, procedures and care philosophy.
Provide supervision and coordination to housekeeping staff.
Ensure training and competencies of staff.
Coordinate staff coverage for assigned sites.
Meet or exceed relevant legislation standards.
