Job summary
Palliative Care SA is recruiting for a Senior Pharmacist Team Leader – Distribution at Adelaide CBD and surrounding hospital sites. You will lead hospital pharmacy distribution services, guiding pharmacists, assistants and technicians to deliver a coordinated, high-quality service.
You will provide medicines advice, promote safe and cost-conscious use, and mentor staff. Appointment requires unconditional AHPRA registration as a pharmacist with hospital pharmacy and leadership experience.
Qualifications
- Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
- Hold or be eligible for Pharmacy Board registration.
- Bring hospital pharmacy and team leadership experience.
- Communicate clearly and effectively, guide staff and improve pharmacy care.
Responsibilities
- Lead hospital pharmacy distribution services to support safe, timely patient care.
- Manage a designated pharmacy area at Royal Adelaide Hospital or The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
- Mentor staff, review practice and performance, and drive improvements in medication management to support continuity of care.
