Job summary

Lyell McEwin Hospital in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Pharmacist Dispensary to lead hospital dispensary services, provide medicines information and therapeutic advice, and collaborate with clinical teams to ensure safe, effective care.

You will use clinical judgement to support cost-effective medicines use, guide colleagues, and contribute to staff education and service improvements within the Statewide Clinical Support Services framework.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
• Hold or be eligible for Pharmacy Board of Australia registration.
• Bring extensive hospital pharmacy and supervisory experience.
• Guide colleagues and improve pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Bring your hospital pharmacy expertise to Lyell McEwin Hospital and help patients get the best from their medicines. As a Senior Pharmacist, you’ll organise and deliver dispensary services, provide medicines information and therapeutic advice, and work with clinical teams to support safe, effective care.
• Use your clinical expertise and independent judgement to support safe and cost effective use of medicines. You’ll guide colleagues, contribute to staff education and service improvement, and work with pharmacy leaders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality dispensary care.
