Job summary

Churches of Christ Home Care in Warwick, QLD, seeks a Senior Home Care Worker for a permanent full-time role. Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or higher (Certificate IV or Diploma preferred).
• Medication qualification or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid and CPR qualification.
• Police Check.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in direct support.
• Valid Australian Work Rights – sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

About the role

Churches of Christ Home Care, Darling and Southern Downs surrounds Permanent Full-Time Opportunity. Immediate Start Available

You will provide compassionate, client-centered care to individuals in their homes with everyday tasks, companionship, medication and social support as well as some office-based responsibilities. There will be times when you’ll contribute to planning and coordination from our office. As a senior team member, you will also be available for on-call support as the need arises, ensuring that clients receive the highest standard of care when they need it most.

Responsibilities

Is reliable, adaptable and has well developed communication skills – occasional early starts are required so this role will not suit school hours workers

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or higher (Certificate IV or Diploma preferred)

• Police Check
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in direct support required
• A current driver’s licence and a reliable, registered, and comprehensively insured vehicle suitable for work purposes are essential for this role. (Reimbursement of $0.96 per KM is provided for use of own vehicle)
• Hold a valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
