Job summary

The Attorney-General’s Department is seeking a Senior Hearings Delegate in Adelaide to exercise delegated authority on licensing and regulatory matters. You will determine complex cases with sound judgement, applying administrative law to ensure fair, transparent and well-reasoned decisions.

Your role involves hearings, evidence assessment, and providing specialist advice while supporting quality assurance and policy improvements within CBS. NP clearance and out-of-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience making statutory, regulatory or administrative decisions and applying administrative law principles.
• Strong written communication skills for clear, structured reasons for decisions.
• Ability to manage a challenging caseload while upholding fairness and impartiality.
