Job summary

Webuild, in collaboration with Clough, is delivering the New Women and Babies Hospital project in Perth, WA. The Senior Project Engineer will lead the project team, manage design co-ordination and delivery, and work with stakeholders to achieve programme milestones.

The role focuses on risk management, planning, and value-for-money engineering solutions across major construction packages within the project. Flexible and remote work options are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience on major projects of $100M+
• High level knowledge across construction stages (structure, façade, fit-out)
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborative approach and ability to drive project outcomes

Responsibilities

• Manage technical risk and opportunities; lead development of innovative initiatives
• Oversee design co-ordination, commercial management, planning and delivery phases
• Support the Project Manager with stakeholder management or contract requirements
• Represent the Project Manager in meetings with the Client and stakeholders
• Assess innovative design options and value-for-money initiatives, review practicality
• Prepare construction plans/programs; assist with site budgets and monthly reports
• Coordinate with site supervisors to manage trades and ensure productivity
• Monitor progress against program and budget; report variances
