Job summary

Webuild S.p.A. in Australia seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead the New Women and Babies Hospital Team in Perth. You will drive key work packages, manage design coordination, commercial planning and stakeholder engagement, and ensure delivery to program and budget requirements.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7+ years in major construction projects (>$100M) with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to project outcomes. flexible and remote work options are offered.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or an associated discipline.
• High level of commercial building knowledge across construction stages (structure, façade, fit out)
• 5–7+ years construction experience on major projects of $100M+ is essential; health experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach to drive project outcomes

Responsibilities

• Manage technical risk and opportunities on the project and lead innovative initiatives.
• Oversee design coordination, commercial management, planning and delivery phases.
• Support the Project Manager with stakeholder management and contractual requirements.
• Represent the Project Manager in client and stakeholder meetings as required.
• Consider innovative design options and value-for-money initiatives for practicality.
• Prepare construction plans/programs aligned with project expectations and assist with budgets/reports.
• Work with site supervisors to understand trades and maintain productivity of direct hires and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress against program and budget; report variances
