South Gippsland Shire Council is seeking a Health Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to provide specialist HS&W advice across the organisation. The role involves incident reporting, investigations, risk assessments and coordinating emergency management systems. You will help develop and improve HS&W policies and the SSOW framework.

Based across the Shire, the Band 6 position offers a competitive salary of $94,663.33 plus 12% Superannuation and opportunities to support a safe, compliant workplace culture.

• Proven ability to develop, implement and improve HS&W systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist HS&W advice and guidance across the organisation.
• Conduct incident and hazard reporting, safety investigations including root cause analysis.
• Conduct risk assessments, site audits and inspections to identify hazards.
• Coordinate and maintain emergency management systems, including warden/first aid registers and evacuation drills.
• Assist in developing, reviewing and improving HS&W policies, SSOW, and management system.
