City of Port Phillip in Melbourne is seeking a proactive Safety Advisor to support Child Safety and Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) across the Community Wellbeing Division, including Family Youth and Children Services and Library services.

This full-time permanent role reports to the Head of Safety and Wellbeing and focuses on maturing child safe standards and strengthening safety risk management across Council.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace safety and child safety advisory roles or similar.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders across business units.
• Demonstrated learning mindset and adaptability to priorities and systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the maturity of Child Safety and HSW programs across Council.
• Coordinate prevention programs focusing on Community Wellbeing Division.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of safety risk management.
