Job summary

Ausco Modular is seeking a highly autonomous WHS leader based at our Rutherford manufacturing site, with regular travel across NSW, ACT, VIC and TAS. You will partner with regional leaders to drive safety performance, coach teams, and ensure WHS compliance across sites including manufacturing, service centres, construction and accommodation village operations.

You will lead inspections, investigations, training and reporting, and contribute to the development of safety systems and culture.

Qualifications

• This role requires a minimum 5 years’ WHS experience in construction, manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Must hold a current White Card and a valid Driver's Licence.
• Strong communication, coaching and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to improve safety performance across multiple sites.
• Ensure compliance with WHS legislation, standards, policies and procedures.
• Coach leaders to build safety capability and accountability.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk reviews.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Deliver safety training and education programs.
• Prepare reports, investigations and safety performance analyses.
• Contribute to safety systems, policies and initiatives.
• Promote a positive and proactive safety culture.
