Job summary

Sydney Mobile Phone Repairs in Kingsgrove is seeking an experienced Hardware Technician to service computers, laptops, phones, tablets and gaming consoles. You will diagnose, repair and upgrade hardware, perform board-level work, recover data and ensure quality checks before return to customers.

The role requires at least 3 years of hands-on hardware repairs, strong soldering and fault diagnosis, and the ability to explain faults to customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on hardware repair experience or a relevant IT/electronics qualification
• Strong soldering and fault-diagnosis skills
• Confident with charging ports, connectors and internal flex cables
• Experience with CPU/NAND upgrades and data recovery is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Repair and upgrade hardware components for computers, mobiles, and gaming consoles
• Diagnose faults using test equipment and schematics
• Perform data recovery and board-level repairs
• Install and configure OS/software after repairs and transfer data
• Explain faults and repair options to customers
