Key responsibilities
- Proactively identify and qualify sales leads across listed and unlisted fund managers, private equity firms, hedge funds, and consultancy firms
- Support the Managing Director in strategic outreach and client development efforts
- Assist in executing targeted sales campaigns and managing sales administration tasks
- Monitor industry trends and client activity to anticipate needs and tailor outreach
- Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing updates, recommendations, and support throughout the engagement lifecycle
- Track client interactions and feedback to identify upsell opportunities and improve service delivery
- Collaborate with research and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of expert engagements
About you
- Minimum 18 months experience in client services, sales, market research, recruitment, consulting or an expert network business
- Proven success in building and managing a sales pipeline, with a focus on conversion and relationship-building
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills—confident, clear, and persuasive across both written and verbal formats
- Detail-oriented and a passion for delivering results with a strong work ethic
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, while thriving in a team-oriented culture
- A genuine interest in financial markets, investment strategies, and industry dynamics
- Experience in account management or client relationship roles, ideally within professional services environment
- Ability to build trust and rapport with clients, understand their evolving needs, and deliver tailored solutions
- Comfortable using CRM tools and tracking client engagement metrics
