Job summary

MAAS Group Holdings Limited (MGH) is seeking a Group Payroll Officer to deliver end-to-end payroll processing for the group using Employment Hero. This role ensures compliance with modern awards, enterprise agreements, and statutory obligations while managing master data, timesheets, and leave processing.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll tax, Superannuation Guarantee, PAYG withholding, STP reporting and year-end processes, and hands-on experience with payroll

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and statutory obligations (payroll tax, Super Guarantee, PAYG, STP, Fair Work).
• Experience applying modern awards, enterprise agreements and contracts to pay rates and entitlements.
• Strong end-to-end payroll processing experience in a medium-to-large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate, compliant end-to-end payroll processing across the Group.
• Manage employee master data, timesheets and leave processing.
• Perform payroll calculations, reviews, adjustments, reporting and reconciliations.
