Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking a Group Manager WA Capacity and Connections to lead multidisciplinary teams delivering capacity assurance, system services, and project connections for Western Australia. The role will drive collaboration with Western Power, developers and government to ensure secure, reliable electricity supply and timely market entry.

• Lead multidisciplinary teams with clear priorities and accountability.
• Oversee capacity and system services, including Reserve Capacity Mechanism and procurement of essential services.
• Coordinate AEMO's responsibilities for new project entry, including connection, registration, accreditation and commissioning activities.
• Build collaborative partnerships with Western Power, developers, investors and government to progress projects and connections.
• Maintain governance with transparent, risk-based decisions compliant with regulatory obligations.
