Job summary

Programmed, Canberra-based, is seeking a Senior Team Leader to guide the grounds maintenance team on client sites in the South Eastern Suburbs. You will report to the Contract Manager and oversee planning, scheduling, and on-site supervision to ensure safe, timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

The role requires strong time management, team leadership and a commitment to safety, with opportunities for career growth within the Programmed family.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in grounds maintenance.
• Experience leading a horticultural / gardening team.
• Qualifications or experience in horticulture.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• A clear commitment and understanding of Quality and Health, Safety and Environment systems.

Responsibilities

• Onsite supervision of employees and contractors to deliver grounds maintenance on time with quality outcomes.
• Plan and schedule work and audit delivery for safety and efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to Quality and Health, Safety and Environment requirements.
