Job summary

Moore Australia, a leading adviser in governance and risk, seeks a Senior Consultant to lead risk-based internal audits and assess controls. You will guide junior team members and manage projects across internal audit, governance, compliance and risk advisory services.

You will deliver high-quality work to both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and strong client service. A strong foundation in GRC and data analysis is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in commerce or business required.
• Professional qualification like CIA/CA/CPA pursued or in progress.
• Minimum 3 years in risk, governance, internal/external audit or compliance.
• Experience in health, education, government, aged care or not-for-profit is valued.
• Valid Working with Children Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal audits and risk-based engagements from planning to reporting.
• Manage client projects across governance, risk and compliance domains.
• Analyze processes to identify risks, control gaps and improvements.
• Coach junior staff and ensure engagement budgets and timelines.
• Deliver high-quality client deliverables and stakeholder discussions.
• Maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and clients.
• Adhere to Moore Australia Internal Audit methodology.
