Job summary

Agribusiness Recruitment seeks a Senior Business Development Manager to own greenfield growth across Central and Northern NSW into Southern and Central Queensland, building a robust pipeline and driving opportunities to commercial closure.

The role demands strong relationships with grain growers and supply-chain players, willingness to travel, and a track record in agtech or grain marketing to identify where digital solutions create value.

Qualifications

• Established relationships with broadacre grain growers and the grain supply chain.
• Experience in business development, account management, grain procurement or grain marketing.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive, results-driven and capable of working independently.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays.
• Agtech, agronomy, grain accumulation, bulk handling or logistics experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across the territory.
• Leverage relationships with growers, bulk handlers, buyers, processors, transport providers and end users.
• Identify where digital solutions can add operational and commercial value.
• Manage opportunities from initial contact through to commercial agreement.
• Represent the business at customer meetings, field days and industry events.
