Job summary

Capital Recruit is recruiting an APS6 financial analyst for a Federal Government project in Canberra. The role is a 6-month labour hire contract (with potential for a 12-month extension) and may be delivered remotely outside the ACT.

You will lead financial analysis on costs, risks and viability, working in a multi-disciplinary team and reporting to executives and the Minster. Candidates with government contracting experience, Baseline clearance and Australian citizenship are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Strong history in management accounting and financial analysis.
• Experience in project-based roles with diverse stakeholders.
• Exposure to government contracts and SLAs desirable.
• Australian citizenship and Baseline security clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis on costs, risk and viability of a government project.
• Prepare reports for internal executives and ministers.
• Engage with diverse stakeholders to inform decision making.
• Utilise Excel for complex financial modelling and analysis.
