Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior to join the Global Payroll Operate Service Management Office in Sydney, Australia. The role supports multi-country payroll engagements, coordinating client requests, tracking actions, and reporting to ensure a high-quality, well-governed service for multinational clients.

You will work with EY country payroll teams and global support functions, gaining exposure to EY’s payroll technology and global delivery model while growing into larger client-facing roles over time.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in payroll, operations, service delivery, client support or similar environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with confidence dealing with internal teams and clients.
• Comfort working with data, trackers, reports, dashboards and MS Office tools.
• Proactive, client-centric mindset, willing to work across countries and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day service management of multi-country payroll engagements.
• Prepare meeting materials, service reports, dashboards, action logs and status updates.
• Track risks, issues, escalations and follow up with relevant teams.
• Coordinate with country payroll teams, technology teams and global support functions.
• Maintain service management trackers, document repositories and governance records.
• Assist scope, change requests, billing and contract administration.
• Help manage financials of payroll engagements per budget.
• Promote consistent use of Service Management Office processes and tools.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Contribute ideas to improve service quality and client experience.
