People Space (SA) is seeking a Senior Payroll Manager to lead a sizeable, multi-entity payroll operation in Australia. The role focuses on governance, systems thinking and people leadership across distributed teams.

You will guide transformation, consolidating payroll platforms, optimise processes and work with Finance, HR and operations to deliver accurate, timely payroll while maintaining controls and compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading a complex payroll function.
• Experience managing and developing a sizeable payroll team.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, awards, compliance and controls.
• Experience with multiple payroll systems, entities or populations.

• Leading, coaching and developing a sizeable payroll team across locations.
• Ensuring accurate, compliant and timely payroll delivery across a complex workforce.
• Providing structure, direction and accountability across the payroll function.
• Overseeing payroll activity across multiple systems and populations.
• Maintaining strong payroll governance, controls and compliance.
• Collaborating with Finance, HR and operations to resolve issues and drive improvements.
