Job summary

Amazon is seeking an analytically minded Financial Analyst to join the Leo international finance team based in Sydney. The role will support APAC market negotiations, develop financial models, and provide data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions.

The successful candidate will build P&L models, perform due diligence, and help shape pricing, currency strategy, and long-range planning across regions, while embracing AI tools to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in finance, tax or analytical field.
• Experience building financial models and scenario analysis.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive P&L models with scenario analysis and NPV assessments.
• Perform financial due diligence and support FX/currency strategy for deals.
• Build reusable deal model frameworks and standardized templates.
• Design models to project business performance against key metrics.
• Leverage AI tools to automate analysis and improve accuracy.
• Support quarterly and long-range planning for international operations.
• Perform Month-End-Close activities including variance analysis.
