Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Australia Pty Ltd is hiring a Bus Dev Manager for Amazon Leo to lead the regional go-to-market strategy across Asia-Pacific and Japan. You will own the regional business plan, identify target industries, and adapt proven sales plays for local markets to build a strong pipeline with direct engagements and strategic partnerships.

You will enable regional sales teams, craft scalable tools, and feed market intelligence to the global team.

Qualifications

10+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
7+ years of professional or military experience.
7+ years of solving problems with technology in the Media & Entertainment Industry.
7+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
Bachelor's degree.
7+ years working with Data & AI related technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, Storage).
Experience influencing leadership decisions at organizational level.

Responsibilities

Own the regional go-to-market strategy for Amazon Leo across APJ regions and identify industries and use cases to target.
Adapt proven sales plays for local markets, adjust channel structures, and tailor deal approaches for enterprise buyers.
Originate and develop enterprise opportunities with major accounts, shaping terms and advancing deals to pipeline.
Enable local sales teams with training and repeatable tools to discuss business outcomes, not just technology.
Identify regional use cases and opportunities, validate with reference customers, and share learnings globally.
Represent APJ voice in the worldwide BD org, surfacing market intel and product gaps backed by customer evidence.
