Job summary

Paxus is seeking a Principal Spatial Administrator to lead the enterprise GIS landscape in a government setting. You will oversee spatial data, system security and performance while guiding GIS platform configuration and enhancements.

Responsibilities include expert advice, stakeholder engagement and ongoing improvement of GIS capabilities to deliver effective spatial solutions across the organisation.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent experience in GIS or related discipline.
Proven experience with enterprise GIS environments and data management.
Strong scripting/programming skills (Python/SQL/Arcade).

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day management of enterprise GIS and spatial data.
Ensure system security, reliability and performance.
Lead GIS platform configuration, maintenance and optimization.
Provide expert technical advice and engage stakeholders to deliver spatial solutions.
