Job summary
Redland City Council is seeking a GIS Spatial Systems Team Leader to shape the future of our spatial technology platform on the Redlands Coast. You will lead a team of 4 GIS professionals and drive the strategic direction of our enterprise GIS environment, including ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online and related technologies.

Qualifications
- Proven experience leading GIS teams and delivering enterprise-scale spatial information solutions.
- Experience developing GIS strategies, roadmaps and future-state architectures.
- Strong expertise with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.
- Experience integrating GIS with Technology One Mapping or other corporate systems.
- Understanding of spatial data governance, metadata and data quality frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing GIS Spatial Systems Team.
- Own and deliver Council's Spatial Strategy and enterprise GIS roadmap.
- Provide leadership of ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal) and ArcGIS Online.
- Oversee spatial data governance, datasets and metadata management.
- Partner with business units to turn spatial insights into outcomes.
- Drive innovations such as GeoAI, digital twins and real-time data.
- Manage projects and align with Agile methodologies.
- Represent Council in industry forums and vendor engagements.
