The Opportunity

This is a senior opportunity for an experienced GIS professional to take ownership of a complex Enterprise GIS environment, supporting critical spatial data, platforms, mapping services, and system improvements. You will play a key role in ensuring GIS data integrity, platform performance, and practical spatial outcomes across a large, multi-stakeholder organisation.

The Role

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day management, optimisation, and continuous improvement of Enterprise GIS systems and spatial data services.

• Manage and optimise Enterprise GIS platforms, spatial databases, and web mapping services


• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance, backups, security, and system performance


• Maintain GIS data repositories, metadata, standards, quality controls, and database design


• Provide expert GIS advice, acting as an escalation point for complex technical matters


• Deliver advanced spatial analysis, modelling, reporting, and data visualisation outcomes


• Support enhancement initiatives through stakeholder consultation, education, and system improvements

About You

You will be a technically strong GIS specialist with the judgement, communication skills, and ownership needed to support a complex enterprise environment.
