Job summary

Hart Recruitment Ltd in the Sydney Western Suburbs seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead projects, provide technical oversight and mentor junior staff. The role will manage geotechnical work across major infrastructure and development schemes, guiding delivery with a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate holds a geotechnical, civil engineering or engineering geology qualification with 8–12 years' experience, strong reporting and client-facing skills, and Chartered status or progression

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Engineering Geology.
• Approximately 8-12 years' geotechnical consulting experience.
• Experience delivering geotechnical investigations, design and construction projects.
• Strong report writing and project management skills.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership.

Responsibilities

• Managing geotechnical projects from proposal through to completion.
• Reviewing and preparing interpretive geotechnical reports.
• Managing project budgets, programmes and resources.
• Developing fee proposals and supporting tender submissions.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
• Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior staff.
• Working closely with contractors, clients and project stakeholders.
