Reporting to the Superintendent Geotechnical - Survey, this role is to ensure professional application of geotechnical principles to the day-to-day and mid term planning and operation of the underground mine at Rosebery.
This role ensures high-quality geotechnical data supports safe ground control, mine planning and design in line with the PMHMP and industry best practice. Responsibilities include managing geotechnical databases and monitoring systems, analysing ground conditions and rock falls, developing design criteria, identifying risks and mitigation strategies, supporting short- to medium‑term mine planning, implementing TARP actions, and providing ground control training—all while upholding MMG's Code of Conduct and values.
