Job summary

WaterNSW is seeking a Spatial Analyst to join our high performing team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract. You will develop expertise across spatial analysis, mapping, asset data management and geospatial applications alongside an experienced mentor.

You'll deliver strategic infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives using ArcGIS Pro and the ESRI suite to provide insights for managing vital water assets across New South Wales. Hybrid work.

Qualifications

Degree in Spatial Science or GIS with a passion for turning data into insights.
Experience with ArcGIS Pro and ESRI platform for spatial analysis.
Experience using ESRI Spatial Analyst tools for modelling and visualization.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Contribute to major infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives with asset mapping.
Deliver spatial insights by turning geospatial data into maps and analyses.
Drive continuous improvement to automate workflows and improve data usability.
Manage spatial requests and deliver timely mapping and data solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design fit-for-purpose spatial solutions and value.
