Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital in Brisbane seeks a senior surgical medical professional to lead and support the General Surgery Department. You will work with the Director of Surgery to deliver high-quality patient care and provide clinical leadership across services.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, participate in on-call rosters, support education and supervision of registrars and junior staff, and drive quality improvement initiatives within a busy public hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Registered medical practitioner with specialist surgical qualifications.
• Ability to deliver evidence-based care within credentialed scope.
• Strong leadership and teaching capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Deliver specialist surgical services and clinical leadership.
• Participate in emergency and district on-call rosters.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for safe, patient-centred care.
• Provide supervision and education to registrars and junior staff.
