Job summary

Jps Medical Recruitment seeks a FRACS-qualified General Surgeon to join a major metropolitan teaching hospital in NSW. This full-time consultant role offers broad operative exposure in elective and emergency General Surgery within a high-performing multidisciplinary environment.

The successful applicant will collaborate with surgical, anaesthetic, ICU and perioperative teams while contributing to service development, teaching and clinical leadership.

Qualifications

• FRACS required for General Surgery.
• AHPRA specialist registration (or eligibility) required.
• IMGs assessed by RACS encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad General Surgery service with strong operative exposure.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams including ICU, anaesthetics and perioperative services.
• Engage in teaching and registrar supervision within a teaching hospital.
