Job summary

SolStak, a specialist in sovereign ICT, seeks a GCP Architect/Engineer to lead design and delivery on Defence and government programmes. You will build secure GCP foundations, design landing zones, and guide teams through migration and modernization on Google Cloud.

The role focuses on architecting scalable cloud platforms, implementing GKE, Cloud Run, Terraform automation, and collaborating across identity, data and application teams to enable hybrid/multi-cloud delivery with strong uptime and

Qualifications

Proven experience architecting and operating Google Cloud in enterprise settings.
Australian government security clearance desirable.
Minimum two years of proven experience in a relevant role.
Own GitLab instance and home lab environment desirable.
Industry certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

Architect GCP landing zones, networking, security and shared platform services.
Design and implement GKE, Cloud Run and serverless workloads for mission systems.
Automate infrastructure with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines on Google Cloud.
Optimise cost, performance and resilience across GCP environments.
Partner with identity, data and application teams on hybrid and multi-cloud delivery.
