Job summary

JPMorganChase in Sydney seeks a Senior Fund Accounting Associate to lead end-to-end fund accounting operations for a portfolio of institutional clients across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia-Pacific. You will own relationships, ensure timely deliverables, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

With 5+ years in fund operations and strong systems knowledge, you will manage complex client needs, lead a team, and uphold strict risk management standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fund operations, unit trust pricing, or fund accounting with demonstrated seniority.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international financial markets and instruments.
• Strong systems knowledge of asset management and custody systems such as HiPortfolio or Investone.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to manage complex client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Take senior ownership of client relationships, including query resolution and service reviews.
• Maintain documentation standards such as SOPs and client checklists to ensure compliance.
• Lead process improvement and system development initiatives to drive efficiency.
• Coordinate with relationship managers and upstream/downstream teams to resolve issues.
• Oversee risk and control framework and escalate issues promptly.
