Carta is hiring a Senior Fund Accountant to join our rapidly growing Fund Administration team in Sydney. You will own core fund reporting, NAV calculations, and balance sheet reconciliations while liaising with fund managers, auditors, and tax advisors.

The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to work across venture capital funds. We seek candidates with 3+ years of closed-end fund accounting, a relevant accounting degree, and CPA/CA progress.

Competenze

• 3+ years of closed‑end fund accounting experience.
• Accounting or finance degree required.
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards an equivalent.
• Understanding of Limited Partnerships and venture capital/fund structures is helpful.

Mansioni

• Own core fund reporting and analysis, including monthly management packs and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support financial integrity across the fund lifecycle, including BAS, tax distributions, unit pricing and cashflow management.
• Partner with fund managers, transaction teams, auditors and tax advisors to support acquisitions and day-to-day fund activity.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and reporting across Finance.
• Onboard new properties and funds, contributing to growth of the Diversified platform.
