Job summary

Anton Murray Consulting is partnering with a leading global financial services firm to hire a Senior Fund Accountant in Sydney. You will oversee fund accounting and unit pricing, lead month-end closes, and work with clients on restructures and transitions.

This is a permanent role reporting to the Fund Accounting Manager in a busy asset servicing environment. Ideal candidates will have Australian fund accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and a proactive mindset to improve controls

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in fund accounting and unit pricing.
• Australian fund accounting experience essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to meet multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting and unit pricing for a portfolio of clients.
• Manage hard close and month-end processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams on restructures and new implementations.
• Drive process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency.
• Document and implement new procedures and controls.
• Handle complex fund accounting activities with high impact.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
