Job summary

Healthengine is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build and maintain the Healthengine website and microservices. You’ll work with a product manager, designer and engineering manager, enjoying autonomy within a high‑performing team.

You’ll bring strong experience in React, PHP, PostgreSQL and AWS, plus Agile practices. You’ll also mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture and delivery across the stack.

Qualifications

• Proficient in React and PHP with solid backend/frontend responsibilities.
• Strong relational database experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience deploying on AWS and working in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality experiences for hundreds of thousands of users as part of a product team.
• Collaborate with developers and designers on innovative, delightful solutions.
• Increase developer velocity and improve user experience across the stack.
• Implement functionality across front-end and back-end in line with team standards.
• Break down user stories into technical tasks and plan future work.
• Contribute to common code bases and engineering standards.
• Mentor junior/mid‑level engineers and participate in hiring.
