Job summary

HaltH in Sydney is seeking a best-in-class Software Engineer to help build the core systems, products, and infrastructure that will define the future of HaltH.

You'll take ownership of end-to-end delivery across core HaltH products, design scalable systems, collaborate with product and business stakeholders, and help shape engineering standards. This is a hands-on role with real impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong TypeScript experience across real-world production systems.
• Deep experience with modern frameworks and tooling, including NodeJS, NestJS, NextJS, ReactJS, and React Native / Expo.
• Proven experience designing, building, and maintaining production APIs.
• Strong testing mindset, with hands-on experience in unit and integration testing, including Playwright and Jest.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, data modelling, and system boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of end-to-end delivery across core HaltH products.
• Design and build scalable, maintainable systems across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Work closely with product and business stakeholders to turn real-world health workflows into high-quality software.
• Help shape engineering standards, architecture decisions, and development practices.
• Raise the bar through strong testing, thoughtful reviews, and high-quality execution.
• Mentor and support other engineers as the team grows.
