Job summary

Insignia Financial is seeking two Senior Full Stack Engineers in Melbourne to shape the digital experiences used by thousands of customers. You’ll work across React, Node.js and AWS, owning solutions from design through to production while modernising testing, deployment and delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in web application and API development within a large-scale organisation.
• Deep React experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS (v16+).
• Hands-on Node.js backend development with Express or NestJS.
• Strong knowledge of single-page apps, state management, responsive design and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and deploy clean, reusable software, owning delivery from inception to production.
• Develop SPAs using TypeScript, React and modern state management.
• Build backend services and integrations with Node.js (Express/NestJS).
• Design REST APIs and authentication patterns; work with Workato as integration layer.
• Write unit, end-to-end tests; leverage AI to improve speed and quality.
• Improve observability, resilience and production support across apps.
• Contribute to CI/CD, documentation, backlog grooming and Scrum rituals.
• Partner with Tech Lead, PO and engineers to improve the software lifecycle.
