Job summary

Omnicom Media in Sydney is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack & Cloud to design, build and operate modern software applications and cloud infrastructure. You will own end-to-end delivery across the stack, collaborating with product, data and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with senior delivery responsibility.
• Hands-on TypeScript and React; scalable backend APIs with Node.js/TS.
• AWS experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Strong PostgreSQL and MongoDB design and tuning.
• Knowledge of software architecture, APIs, distributed systems and data modelling.
• Experience building CI/CD, monitoring, security and production readiness.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate production-grade applications across the full stack.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs with Node.js/TypeScript.
• Design AWS infrastructure using Terraform and manage IaC pipelines.
• Build reliable CI/CD pipelines and automate testing and deployment.
• Ensure security, observability, reliability and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with product, data and engineering teams to translate requirements into solutions.
• Identify architectural risks and opportunities to modernise existing systems.
• Contribute to code reviews and architectural discussions; communicate decisions clearly.
