Job summary

Profusion Group seeks an experienced Senior Support Analyst to join a high-performing trading technology team supporting critical electronic trading platforms across global financial markets. You will work with traders, brokers, exchanges and tech teams to ensure seamless trading operations and peak platform performance.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with OMS/EMS, SQL, and Linux/Unix, plus strong communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders on time-critical issues.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting trading applications within financial markets.
• Strong knowledge of OMS/EMS platforms, electronic trading, and order lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Linux/Unix, monitoring tools, and messaging technologies.
• Solid understanding of Cash Equities trading, with exposure to futures, options, or swaps viewed favourably.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage directly with traders and senior stakeholders.
• A proactive, self-driven approach and the ability to perform in a high-pressure trading floor environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide application support for front-office trading platforms and order management systems.
• Support trading activity across Equities, Derivatives, and related asset classes.
• Investigate and resolve production issues in a time-critical environment.
• Manage exchange and broker connectivity and coordinate with internal infrastructure teams.
• Partner with global technology teams to maintain platform stability and service availability.
• Contribute to system enhancements, releases, and operational improvements.
