Job summary

Powerdata Group Consulting is seeking a Senior Front End Developer in Sydney to lead front-end work using AngularJS and Angular. The role requires strong CSS skills, PWA/SPA knowledge, and API integration within a security-conscious environment.

We value 5+ years of Angular experience, web security awareness, and the ability to build scalable, user-focused interfaces. The position offers in-office Tue/Fri with potential for partial remote work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience with Angular, including AngularJS and the latest Angular.
• Strong knowledge of CSS, WCAG, visualisations and PWA for single-page apps.
• Experience building and securing web applications and integrating APIs.
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks such as Tailwind, Bulma, Bootstrap or Foundation.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent 5+ years of experience.
• Understanding end-to-end system technologies (full-stack) and awareness of cyber security.

Hours of Work: 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week

• Working knowledge on front-end technologies, specifically (but not limited to): CSS, Angular, WCAG, Visualisations, Progressive web-app, single-page application.
  


• Working knowledge of building and securing web-applications, Integrating APIs.
  


• Working knowledge of AngularJS 1.6 and Angular 20+, CSS Framework such as Tailwind, bulma, bootstrap or Foundation
  


• Understanding of end-to-end system technologies (full-stack).
  


• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or in a related discipline and/or equivalent 5+ years relevant workplace experience. ·
  


• Knowledge and understanding of relevant NSW Public Sector policies, procedures and accounting practices including the Treasurer’s Directions and the Public Finance and Audit Act
  

Requirements

• Will the successful candidate be required to work from the office full-time? If not, what is the working from office/ WFH split?
  


• At the moment the requirements are to do at least Tuesday and Friday in office. Subject to change.
