Job summary

Highbury Executive Talent in Sydney CBD NSW seeks a Senior FP&A Manager to lead budgeting and reforecasting for a real estate fund and its assets.

You will own the fund’s financial model, including cash flow, distributions, debt, hedging and covenant forecasting, and deliver monthly reporting to the Board and Investment Committee with clear insights on NOI, occupancy, WALE and valuations.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent).
• Experience in FP&A, commercial finance or senior finance business partnering.
• Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting skills.
• Real estate, property, funds management or infrastructure experience is a strong advantage but not essential.
• Confidence presenting to Boards, Investment Committees and senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and reforecasting across the fund and its assets, built from the asset level up.
• Own the fund financial model: cash flow, distributions, debt, hedging and covenant forecasting.
• Deliver monthly management, Board and Investment Committee reporting, explaining movements in NOI, occupancy, leasing, WALE, capex and valuations.
• Provide financial modelling and analysis for acquisitions, divestments, developments and capital raisings.
• Run scenario analysis on gearing, hedging, capital recycling and distribution policy.
• Contribute finance input to investor and lender reporting.
• Improve FP&A processes, systems and reporting as the fund grows.

THE COMPANY

Our client is a leading sponsor-backed real estate fund manager with a strong acquisition pipeline and significant dry powder to deploy. It needs a Senior FP&A Manager who can tell the CFO and Investment Committee what is changing in the portfolio before anyone asks. The job is not to produce the forecast. The job is to make it right, explain why it moved, and show what the business should do next.

THE ROLE
