Job summary

Mirvac in Sydney is seeking a Senior Analyst, FP&A – Investment to join our Investment Finance team. You will partner with Fund Analysts, Asset Management and Group FP&A to deliver forecast reporting, analytics and robust insights across the Investment portfolio.

In this 9-month maternity leave cover, you’ll consolidate monthly forecasts, prepare quarterly forecasts, drive data integrity across MRI IM, Anaplan and BI, and present clear financial insights to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years' experience across FP&A, management accounting, investment analytics or commercial finance.
• Proficiency with financial tools and systems (Excel; BI; Anaplan advantageous).
• Strong communication to engage stakeholders.
• Attention to detail with ability to manage competing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate Investment monthly forecast reporting with latest forecast numbers, including NOI, capex, incentives, cashflow, and balance sheet drivers; provide variance analysis and commentary for decision making.
• Collaborate with Fund analysts to complete Investment Monthly reporting pack across sectors.
• Prepare Investment quarterly forecasts; ensure data integrity and alignment across MRI IM, Anaplan and BI; resolve system/data-flow issues; translate complex financials into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
• Prepare half-year and full-year Investment performance analyses; explain variances and drivers to senior stakeholders.
• Apply analytical and commercial judgement to variance analysis, identifying drivers, trends, risks and opportunities.
• Communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders, including senior management.
• Enhance reporting efficiency via process optimization, automation and standardization using Excel, Power BI and other tools.
