Job summary

Perigon Group seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst for a PE-backed technology business in Sydney. You will own the integrated financial model, drive budgeting and rolling forecasts, and translate complex data into actionable insights for Executives and the Board.

You will build scenario models to inform investment and capital allocation, prepare board packs, and partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, ELT, and operations. This role helps shape FP&A as the function scales.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years post-qualification FP&A or commercial finance experience.
• CA or CPA qualification required.
• Advanced 3-statement modelling with strong Excel/Power BI skills.
• Experience budgeting and rolling forecast cycles.

Senior FP&A Analyst role with leading PE backed technology business. Opportunity to work in high calibre commercial finance team.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially-minded finance professional who will be heavily involved on strategic decisions in a scaling fintech business.

Reporting to the Director, Commercial Finance, you'll own and enhance the integrated 3-statement financial model, lead budgeting and rolling forecast processes, and turn complex data into insights that Executive and Board stakeholders actually act on.

Day to day, you'll be building scenario models to support investment and capital allocation decisions, preparing Board reporting packs, developing Power BI dashboards, and partnering closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, the ELT, and operational teams.

This is a key role with plenty of scope to shape the FP&A function as it matures.

To be considered for this role you ideally have:

• Advanced 3-statement financial modelling capability and strong Excel/Power BI skills
• CA or CPA qualified, with 3-5+ years post-qualification experience in FP&A or commercial finance
• A track record managing budgeting and forecasting cycles
• The confidence to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority

Previous experience working with a Tech/SAAS based business or within the Investment/Funds Management sector will be highly regarded.
