VAST Data is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead deployment optimization for large AI workloads in customer environments. You will collaborate with customer architects and our engineering team to design and productionize scalable infrastructure, ensuring technical success from design to operation.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, tooling, and rapid problem solving across distributed systems, storage, and HPC environments.

Qualificações

• Deep understanding of distributed systems and storage performance.
• Experience with high-throughput networks and Linux internals.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++, reading and contributing to large codebases.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and ML frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with the customer and engineering teams to optimize infrastructure throughput.
• Develop solutions and translate customer requirements into product improvements.
• Write code and automation to unblock critical workflows for deployments.
• Act as the customer advocate to influence the product roadmap.
