Qualifications

• Hands-on Fortinet experience required across FortiGate/Manager/Analyzer or Security Fabric.
• Experience as a Network Architect / Senior Network Consultant in MSP, integrator or consulting.
• Experience delivering complex enterprise network solutions, from design to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of network solutions across client environments.
• Produce high-level and low-level designs (HLDs/LLDs) and oversee implementation.
• Conduct network assessments to identify performance, scalability and security improvements.
• Act as technical lead across multiple projects ensuring quality delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities including solution design, client presentations and proposals.
• Develop PoCs and contribute to cost estimation and project planning.
• Ensure solutions align to best practices in security, resilience and scalability.
• Plan and execute network changes during maintenance windows including evenings/overnight.

We're partnering with a growing MSP to appoint a Senior Network Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex, enterprise-grade network solutions across a diverse customer base.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role - ideal for someone who enjoys owning solutions end-to-end, from discovery and design through to delivery and optimisation. You'll work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and pre-sales functions to design scalable, secure, and high-performing network environments.

Please note this role includes periodic after-hours and overnight work to support client migrations and change windows outside business hours, minimising disruption to client operations. Time off in lieu / flexible scheduling is provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of network solutions across multiple client environments
• Produce high-level and low-level designs (HLDs/LLDs) and oversee implementation
• Conduct network assessments, identifying performance, scalability, and security improvements
• Act as a technical lead across multiple concurrent projects, ensuring quality delivery
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Support pre-sales activities, including solution design, client presentations, and proposals
• Develop proof of concepts (PoCs) and contribute to cost estimation and project planning
• Ensure solutions are aligned to best practice across security, resilience, and scalability
• Plan and execute network changes and migrations during scheduled maintenance windows, including evenings/overnight as required

About You

• Essential: Hands-on Fortinet experience (FortiGate firewalls, FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer, or broader Fortinet Security Fabric)
• Proven experience as a Network Architect / Senior Network Consultant within an MSP, integrator, or consulting environment
• Strong background in designing and delivering complex network solutions across enterprise environments
• Experience producing HLDs, LLDs, and technical documentation
• Comfortable working across multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes
• Experience supporting or contributing to pre-sales and solution design activities
• Willingness to work occasional after-hours/overnight shifts for scheduled migrations and change windows
