Forensicare's Community Forensic Mental Health Service (CFMHS) is expanding across Regional and Rural Victoria. The Senior Psychologist will provide high-level clinical and forensic expertise, undertaking assessments and treatment for clients referred to the Regional Forensic Mental Health Service.

The role includes supervision of staff, consultancy to other agencies and stakeholders, and a caseload management function within a new service reflecting our growing regional reach.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral qualification in Clinical, Forensic or Clinical Neuropsychology.
• Registration with AoPE in Clinical, Clinical Neuropsychology and/or Forensic Psychology (AHPRA).
• At least five years' experience as a fully registered psychologist.
• Extensive knowledge of psychological approaches for mentally and/or behaviorally disordered clients in forensic settings.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialist psychological, psychometric and risk assessments and reports for Courts and agencies.
• Offer advanced advice on psychological services and secondary consultations to clinicians and professionals.
• Deliver individual and/or group forensic interventions as appropriate.
• Contribute to consumer risk management plans with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Provide supervision and mentoring of psychology students and staff.
• Contribute to case management as determined by the team.
