Job summary

Department of Justice and Community Safety, Victoria is seeking a Forensic Senior Clinician to lead high-level clinical services across Barwon Prison Precinct. You will provide expert assessments and treatment, mentor staff and contribute to system-wide clinical supervision and development.

Role involves travel across the state, delivering evidence-based interventions and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Flexible hybrid work arrangements supported.

Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for one of the listed registrations (AHPRA, AASW, PACFA/ACA).
• Master’s degrees in psychotherapy or counselling with relevant registration.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams in justice settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical services, assessments, case formulation and treatment.
• Mentor clinical staff in group and individual interventions.
• Supervise and develop the clinical workforce and Corrections Victoria staff.
