Department of Justice and Community Safety VIC – Barwon Downs is seeking a Forensic Senior Clinician to provide high-level clinical leadership and advisory services across the system.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, supervise staff, and deliver assessments and treatments for service users, with statewide travel involved. This role offers extensive training, professional development and opportunities to influence practice in forensic intervention services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary clinical teams in the justice system.
• Expertise in forensic risk assessments and treatment models (CBT/DBT/Schema).
• Ability to apply Risk-Needs-Responsivity principles to practice.
• Commitment to reflective practice and clinical supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced assessments, formulation and treatment for service users and advise clinicians.
• Mentor staff and lead group and individual interventions.
• Develop workforce capability through supervision and professional development.
• Travel to correctional facilities across the state.
