Job summary

Busways Gosford depot is seeking an experienced Mechanic to lead a small team and maintain a modern fleet to high safety and quality standards. You will diagnose, repair and recondition vehicles, ensure adherence to procedures, and participate in ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Lead a team with daily supervision and coordination.
• Strong verbal and written communication required.
• WHS compliance and safety-focused practices.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and recondition fleet vehicles to Busways standards.
• Maintain all company vehicles and assets per manufacturer guidelines.
• Attend breakdowns and perform field mechanical repairs as required.
• Communicate safety or maintenance issues effectively to the team.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks and support other duties as directed.
